Off-Ice Jump Class
Focus on all 4 phases of jump (Preparation, take-off, air position and landings) Our Open & High Jump class offers skaters the opportunity to focus on the key principals of single & multi-revolution jump technique, and gain a better understanding of USFS scoring, while working in an engaging, cooperative learning environment.
Jump Harness and Spinner Class
For your figure skater to master ice jumps, it is very important to practice them off-ice first. This class may have two coaches working together to teach the correct jumping techniques. Topics covered include positioning of their body, arms and hands to achieve the perfect jump and spins. The skater can then take the off-ice skills and transfer them to their skating. The new rules implemented by USFS place a greater emphasis on proper posture and technique that this class helps students to master.
